Chainpot — paper seedling pots
A continuous chain of paper pots for raising and transplanting seedlings. One chain holds 264 pots, each 30 mm diameter × 30 mm high.
One chain, 264 connected pots
Each pot is formed from special paper and joined to the next in a chain. You fill the chain with soil, sow it, and raise seedlings as usual. At planting time the chain unfolds — every pot lands in the row at a fixed spacing.
Because the seedling goes into the field still wrapped in its paper cell, the root ball stays intact. The paper then breaks down naturally in the soil.

Pots are connected, so spacing is set by the model. Sowing every other cell (“1-skip”) doubles the spacing to 20 or 30 cm.

CP253 is sized for rice nurseries; CP354 has a deeper cell for bulbs and brassicas. The paper does not break down quickly — for short-cycle crops, retrieving it after harvest is recommended. See organic use & certifications.
